Not many of us know that Google gives PageRank to individual pages of the website which may differ from the homepage of the same domain. For example consider these two URLs

http://techtoggle.com/2009/02/how-to-unblock-any-website-anywhere/
http://techtoggle.com/2009/03/auditory-illusion/

The PageRank of the first link is [PR-2] different from the PageRank of the second link [PR-3] although these two pages belong to the same domain.

So, I wanted to know which of my posts rank higher on Google as compared to other posts? The answer to this question is simple, that is to open each and every page and start looking for PageRank in Google toolbar, incase you have installed one :P . Obviously you can’t check each page individually if your website has 100+ posts.

So I decided to make a small but useful PHP script which will extract as URLs from your website and will give you the PageRank of each and individual page without the headache of opening 100+ URLs and noting down the PageRank of individual page.

Simply go to

and enter your website URL. My script will extract all links and will provide you with the PageRank of each individual page.

Now whats the use of this? Obviously it will help us to check the trend of the search as well as what kind of content should we write so that it may help in increasing the PR of our website. Tell you the truth after noticing the the PageRanks, i have concluded that the pages which are famous on StumbleUpon gets the higher PageRank which is against the basic definition of PageRank. May be StumbleUpon helps in increasing the back links of that post as more and more people share the stories through StumbleUpon.

Do check my last post about “How to check PageRank in Google Chrome“, it will help you to check PageRank of the individual page you visit in chrome, as we know that Google forgot to make Google Toolbar compatible to chrome :P

You need add a proxy feature to the script. Have it load 50 proxies and then switch between them.
