I have been testing Kaspersky antivirus for quite sometime now when one day while trying a very simple test I was able to get rid of the ‘blacklisted’ keys message that most of you would get if you’re using a pirated copy (you know what i mean). So here is the solution:
Note: This is tested to work on Kaspersky 6.0
Step 1: Most of the things start with registry of windows so no surprises here too.
Go to Start -> run -> then type regedit.
Step 2: Navigate to the following tab in the left side of the window.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> KASPERSKYLAB -> AVP6 -> DATA
Step 3: Now right click on “DATA” tab and click permissions.
Step 4: A window will appear like this screenshot:
Step 5: click on “Advanced” button.
Step 6: Now uncheck both the checkboxes shown as in this screenshot:
Step 7: As you uncheck. A warning will be given to you. First click “YES” and then click “OK” on the popup windows.
Step 8: There you go. Blacklisted Kaspersky is ready to use!
Step 9: When you want to update just download the updated files and paste them in the following location.
C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataKaspersky LabAVP6Bases.
Step 10: Restart the PC, and paste updated files in safe mode.
Browse freely. Kaspersky is at guard!
