Sorry, David, laser virtual keyboards have been out for ages and work completely fine. Think before you speak.

Your hands would get in the way of the laser beams, so you'd block out the keys as you type.

That and the fact it shows it in his hand... It's frickin' huge... Ain't no way that's fittin' in a pocket... Come back when it's the size of an I-phone/I-touch and can do just as much as this can

The keyboard is out....the mini projector is out (nikon camera has its own projector) and if the globe design was turned into a cube design, this would easily be possible....would have tons of use, and would be very cheap to make, you could prob sell one for 1000 dollars and still make a profit.

FFS, it's a CONCEPT. No 'concept design' ever gets made, and it pisses me off when it's reported as if they will. This one is more realistic than most, but that only serves to prove how stupid all the other ones are.

Secondly, the designer is retarded. The sphere is the worst possible shape for something like this (except possibly the tetrahedron, thinking about it). It packs and stacks really badly, is difficult to hold, it's unstable, and all of the components inside will be flat chips on flat circuit boards, and so they will pack really badly on the inside. It will also make it very difficult to have a decent cooling fan.

Nice idea though. But as we all now it is easier to accomodate a more linear surface that a spheric one. So thats + 1 for laptops. And -1 for this fella. Also the laser keyboard as input means that you have to use it on a smooth surface. Again +1 for laptops and -1 for this one. Nice idea, and the concept of laptop does need to be reinvented. But not like this.
